RNB Fridays Live resident DJ Yo! Mafia has handpicked the track they’re most excited to hear when the festival makes its way around Australia this November.
If you’re familiar with the Australian party scene, then you are already well acquainted with Yo! Mafia. Taking over Australia’s underground urban scene in the ’90s, it was one fateful night in 2000, following a club night at Melbourne’s The Lounge nightclub run by Northside Records’ owner Chris Gill, that really saw Yo! Mafia catch the live performance bug. And since then she has gone on to become one of the country’s most sought after party DJs.
Along the way she has played sold out gigs around the world, gracing the stage with superstars including Missy Elliot, Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder, Izzy Azalea, and Salt ‘n’ Pepa. And that’s just scratching the surface.
