Prepare for Elton John tickets in Wollongong & Tasssie

Sir Elton John will headline Wollongong’s WIN Stadium and Derwent Entertainment Centre, Tasmania this September, with a greatest hits setlist in store for Aussie fans.

The hotly-anticipated gig at Wollongong’s WIN Stadium will take place on Sunday 24 September, and the Derwent Entertainment Centre, Tasmania show on Wednesday 27 September.

Following phenomenal demand for the Chugg Entertainment presales – which have now ended and the allocation exhausted – we’ve got top tips for fans hoping to secure tickets in the general sale next Tuesday.

Here’s everything you need to know:

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for Elton John at Wollongong’s WIN Stadium and Tasmania’s Derwent Entertainment Centre go on general sale at 9am (local time) on Tuesday 14 March via Ticketmaster.com.au.

Open your Ticketmaster account and log in now

We suggest getting the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. Remember to triple check your passwords, delivery address and billing information now, so you’re not facing any last minute account updates when trying to process your order. Head to Ticketmaster.com.au now and log in to your account to get started.

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window when you’re processing your ticket order and avoid the temptation to use multiple devices. Attempting to access tickets from multiple devices won’t increase your chances of securing tickets and could risk slowing the process down. Similarly, hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue, and as frustrating it can be, patience is key when trying to buy tickets.

Ticketmaster’s sophisticated systems are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is doing all the hard work for you and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as they progress through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Today’s result though, shows that fans should be ready.  Be sure that they have a Ticketmaster account and know your password.  If you don’t have an account you can sign up at Ticketmaster.com.au.
