Postmodern Jukebox crowned all-time cover champions
Hands up if you love a good cover!
We challenge you to take a look at these Postmodern Jukebox covers without a smile on your face.
Music fans all over will agree that hearing one of your fave tunes in a different genre provides all the goosebumps. Take a look at our favourite Postmodern Jukebox covers ahead of their upcoming tour later in the year.
1. Billie Eilish – idontwannabeyouanymore
We lost it when we discovered this cover dropped this week. Proving the PMJ gang don’t miss a trick.
2. Britney Spears – Oops! I Did It Again
This one’s an oldie but a goodie. Seriously, who doesn’t secretly love Britney?
3. Keane – Somewhere Only We Know
The Postmodern Jukebox lot turned this moody indie track into a total toe tapper without losing the soul of the song.
4. Fountains of Wayne – Stacey’s Mom
Every old-school party playlist has this song in it somewhere and we’d be super keen to feature this version on ours.
5. Portugal. The Man – Feel It Still
We would have never imagined this tune being done this way, but we’re so glad it has.
6. Paramore – Still Into You
This version made us swoon. Enough said.
7. David Bowie – Life On Mars
What an awesome tribute to the late, great Starman himself.
8. Lorde – Royals
We’re sorry but who gave this clown permission to be so badass?
Well there you have it, there are just a few of our favourites from the huge Postmodern Jukebox back catalogue.
You can catch them at Palais Theatre on Sunday 22 September and Anita’s Theatre on Wednesday 9 October 2019. Tickets available via Ticketmaster.com.au
