Kingswood announce exclusive Melbourne headline show

"Taking place in the city we love, our city, Melbourne. The city that withstood, persevered, and succeeded..."

Aussie rockers Kingswood are set to perform a very special, one-off show in Melbourne this June.

It has been a year since the band released their third album Juveniles, right as the world got turned on its head, so this will be their first chance to give the record the full rock show experience it deserves.

Tour Dates 2021

Taking over iconic Melbourne venue The Palais Theatre to play the album in full, it will be the band’s first full rock show since the album launch back in March and their sold-out run of stripped-back Reveries gigs in November.

To be playing one of the biggest shows in the band’s history, at a venue that has been a bucket list headline dream, in a time where a worldly plague is causing so much chaos…feels like alchemy, feels wrong – the kind of wrong that you know is just so damned right. Taking place in the city we love, our city, Melbourne. The city that withstood, persevered, and succeeded. The best city in the world. It will be the event of the year and so say all of us

Making the night extra special is the stellar group of artists Kingswood have pulled in to join them.

Dazzling duo Cry Club – who are still riding high off their Record Of The Week-certified debut album, God I’m Such A Mess – singer-songwriter Shannen James, and psychedelic garage punks Psychobabel will all be along for the ride.

Kingswood did not take 2020 laying down, in fact they had one of their most productive years to date. As well as releasing Juveniles, come October and they has reworked the whole record to create Reveries, showcasing the band’s versatility in a whole new way.

Thought that was enough? Think again! Before the end of the year, Kingswood also dropped their first Christmas album, A Kingswood Christmas.

Kingswood will bring their new album Juveniles to Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Saturday 5 June. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.
