King Princess has confirmed plans to play Australia for the first time this November, having announced a string of debut headline shows.

The Brooklyn-raised, LA-based singer-songwriter was quick to earn an engaged Aussie fanbase, with breakout single 1950 being streamed over 14 million times throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Her debut EP Make My Bed, released via Mark Ronson’s Zelig Records, has been met with the same enthusiasm, having received over 100 million streams worldwide.

King Princess will play headline shows across Australia this November, including a huge date at Forum Melbourne on Friday 2 November.

Still just 19, the US songstress has even managed to turn some of music’s most successful musicians into fans.

Harry Styles took to Twitter to quote his favourite lyrics from tweet Princess’ 1950 and subsequently received over 300,000 likes.

Latest single, Talia, has matched the streaming success of Princess’ previous release, helping to build out the young artist’s impressive portfolio of big hits.
