Jet take their 15th anniversary album tour across Australia this June
Jet are back and they’re gearing up to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of Get Born; the album that launched them to global rockstar status.
It wasn’t an easy ride though, and in a recent short doco, the band have got together to reflect on the year their lives changed.
Jet unleashed Get Born in 2003, but it wasn’t until their track, Are You Gonna Be My Girl, ended up on an iPod commercial, that things finally fell into place for the quartet.
In this short doco, the band talk about the rise of rock bands circa 2004, the magic of performing live, Melbourne’s music scene and their comeback.
The four-piece also talk about many of the Aussie venues they called home back in the day, including Forum Melbourne, which they’ll return to for two nights this June.
Jet embark on their Get Re-Born tour this June, where they’ll play their iconic album from start to finish.
