Jack Johnson kicks off his Australian tour in Sydney tonight, with three shows on the forecourt at Sydney Opera House.

The American singer-songwriter has put great measures in place to ensure his Brisbane and Sydney gigs are green, and he needs your help in making it happen.

Jack and his crew, alongside REVERB and Green Music Australia, are working with venues to reduce single-use plastic and to promote sustainable local food. No single-use plastic water bottles will be sold, and free water is available at water stations. Venues are eliminating plastic straws and are encouraged to provide alternatives to plastic serveware. Waste stations will allow for sorting of recyclables.

If you are coming to a show, here are some ways to get involved…

Download the Jack Johnson Tour App by visiting JackJohnsonMusic.com/app on your phone. Visit the Village Green, take environmental action, collect stamps in the app’s

All At Once Passport and enter for a chance to win prizes and to watch the show from THE STAGE!

Bring your own EMPTY reusable water bottle (NO GLASS) to refill for free at water stations hosted by We Refill, or purchase a Jack Johnson branded reusable pint, bottle or thermos at the show to reduce plastic waste.

In Brisbane, fans can also participate in the OZ Harvest food drive at the show! Bring a food donation and get a stamp on your All At Once passport. You can also reduce waste headed for the landfill by recycling on site at the waste stations.

Don’t forget to use alternative transportation to the shows (bike, carpool or take mass transit) and come early to explore the Village Green and connect with local @allatonceorg Non-Profits!
