Harry Styles announces 2020 New Zealand arena tour

We've already put the date in our diaries.

Following the release of his extraordinary second album Fine Line, Harry Styles has announced a very exciting New Zealand arena show that will see him on our side of the world later this year.

The follow-up to Styles’ 2017 self-titled debut solo album, Fine Line, has already taken the world by storm. Upon its release last December, it debuted at #1 around the globe – including here in New Zealand and in Australia. It even entered into the record books as the biggest sales week for a UK male artist’s album since Nielsen Music began electronically tracking sales data in 1991.

Where his powerful debut saw Styles trying on new sounds, shrugging off the pop reputation of his past and delving into everything from Bowie-esque retro glam to licks of psychedelia and even gritty rock, Fine Line finds Styles a lot more focussed and self-assured.

While fully embracing the pop side of his artistry, Styles really has taken on the rock ‘n’ roll starman – but only if he was transported in a retro tour bus to 2020. The ’60s and ’70s influence still runs deep, but it feels more “Styles” than anything he’s ever made before.

Harry Styles 2020 New Zealand Tour Dates

  • Monday 23 November 2020 – Spark Arena, Auckland

This November, Harry Styles will bring Fine Line to New Zealand with Love On Tour.

It will be Styles’ second visit to New Zealand as a solo artist, following his last trip to Spark Arena back in 2017 in support of his self-titled debut.

As a member of One Direction, Harry Styles released five studio albums topping charts around the globe. The boyband, formed on the UK’s The X Factor, released iconic pop tracks such as What Makes You Beautiful, Little Things and Drag Me Down.

No stranger to New Zealand, Styles joined the band for a number of much-celebrated NZ shows.

Joining Styles is one of the UK’s biggest pop stars, Mabel. Since bursting onto the scene in the latter half of 2015, she has earned herself three BRIT Awards and had the biggest selling single in the UK by a British female artist.

Make all those important decisions in advance

Now that you have all the important information, it is time to get together with your friends and decide which tickets you would like to buy.

If you make all the important decisions before onsale – budget, ticket type, the area you’d like to sit or stand, etc – it will help make the ticket buying process as smooth as possible.

Make sure your My Ticketmaster account is up to date

Before tickets go on sale, log into your My Ticketmaster account. Remember to triple check your passwords, delivery address, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Don’t refresh your screen
Once tickets go on sale, stick to one window when you’re processing your ticket order and always resist the urge to refresh. Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can be, patience is the only way to win this game.

Ticketmaster’s sophisticated systems are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is doing all the hard work for you and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds and sometimes thousands of customers simultaneously attempting to purchase tickets across all distribution channels. Tickets are sold as long as tickets are available, and when an act is as popular as Harry Styles, sometimes they go very quickly.

Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.
