Download Festival Melbourne just leveled up its food game, announcing plans to bring an array of delightful grub to Flemington Racecourse next weekend.

Instead of greasy chips and soggy dogs, metallers will have their pick of some of Australia’s top eateries courtesy of Hell’s Kitchen; a supergroup of sorts featuring Mary’s, Fred’s, IGNI, Longsong and Africola.

Their burgers aren’t just any old patties in buns, so prepare your taste-buds accordingly.

More deliciousness will be on site on Saturday 24 March, as the festival welcomes food trucks from Beatbox Kitchen (burgers), Juanita Peaches (fried chicken), All Day Donuts (obviously donuts), American BBQ (Blue Bonnet BBQ and The Rib Crib) and Korean favourites like HOPPA and Caliko, plus heaps more.

Download has also revealed a full market program curated by Rare Records, which will feature vinyl stalls, vintage clothing, accessories and more.

Download Festival Melbourne debuts in Australia on Saturday 24 March at Flemington Racecourse, featuring Korn, Prophets of Rage, Limp Bizkit, Mastodon, Good Charlotte, NOFX, among so many awesome bands.
