Can't make the festival? Want double the action? Well have we got news for you!

The Falls Festival 2019/2020 lineup is absolutely heaving with musical treats – whether you can’t make it to the festival or want an extra slice of the action, the sideshows are rolling in fast.

Live favourites Yungblud, Milky Chance, and Of Monsters and Men will all be giving fans a little extra treat, making their Aussie trips extra worthwhile.

While the 27th annual Falls Festival action is set to take place across Byron Bay, Lorne, Marion Bay, and Fremantle to welcome the New Year, that doesn’t mean you can’t also soak up the action elsewhere.

Yungblud

UK troublemaker Yungblud has become well-known for his incredible, and some would say incredibly wild, live shows. He’s becoming a regular staple on the Australian festival circuit thanks to the success of singles like ‘I Love You, Will You Marry Me’, and ‘Polygraph Eyes’, but this upcoming visit will be extra special as Yungblud will be showing off tracks from his upcoming The Underrated Youth EP. Set for release in mid-October, these tracks are sure to continue his upward rise. We’ve already had a taste in new single ‘hope for the underrated youth’ and we cannot wait for Yungblud to land Down Under so we can hear it live.

Of Monsters and Men

Icelandic five-piece Of Monsters and Men ain’t no joke, and if you are yet to experience their live show just know that their high energy sets aren’t just a rumour. An absolute global force of indie pop and stadium rock, their catalogue is chock full of monstrous hooks just written to be sung at the top of your lungs. Since taking to our shores in 2016 – and selling out shows up and down the east coast – they’ve put out a monster (mind the pun) third record called Fever Dream which they are raring to share with Aussie fans.

Milky Chance

German folk duo Milky Chance won our hearts back in 2012 with the gorgeous ‘Stolen Dance’ and now, more than seven years later they are preparing to continue our love affair with their third album Mind The Moon. With the record dropping in November, Milky Chance’s Australian visit, and particularly their Melbourne sideshow, will be some of the first chances fans anywhere in the world have to hear their new material live. So far, their collaboration with our very own Tash Sultana in ‘Daydreaming’ and their latest single ‘The Game’ have given us a nice peek into just what album three might sound like. Get ready to have your night stolen away by the breezy tones of Milky Chance.
