The lowdown on Childish Gambino:
In case you’ve been living under a really, really big rock… Childish Gambino is one of the most talented multi-talents in the game today.
Most recently, he topped the charts worldwide with 2018 single, This Is America, including the ARIA Chart and Billboard’s Hot 100. The hit track precedes the release of his equally hotly-tipped fourth album, which follows Camp (2011), Because the Internet (2013) and Awaken, My Love! (2016).
The track’s statement video caught just as much attention, stimulating fierce conversation on a global scale.
Away from the limelight of Childish Gambino, Donald Glover is busy making waves of a different kind.
His limitless creativity has seen Glover extend his skills to writing, directing and acting, scoring credits on TV shows such as 30 Rock and Community. He’s also the force behind the critically-acclaimed series, Atlanta. Not to mention his movie credits, most recently playing Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story and upcoming as the voice of Simba for Disney’s remake of The Lion King.
Needless to say, Childish Gambino’s outdoor Australian shows will be the must-see events of this summer. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
